Develop a digital strategy for a new genre of Web entertainment for Pulp Business—a first-of-its-kind motion graphics series about the seedy underbelly of the business world.
Go beyond a website and provide a comprehensive multimedia experience, with assets accessible across multiple digital platforms, putting an emphasis on innovative community building and sponsorship platforms.
RepEquity began with a strategic analysis of Pulp’s business goals, target audiences, revenue opportunities and technical infrastructure needs. This included laying out the foundational budgets for all business activity including branding, creative concepting and development, launch and ongoing marketing, public relations, ongoing video production, social media activity and audience engagement, advertising sponsorships and product placements, as well as technical infrastructure development and maintenance.
Once defined, RepEquity produced a multi-platform preliminary website to house the business plan, a trailer, a pilot episode, introductory information about the series and a sign-up process to grab the email addresses of interested individuals.
From preliminary scripts provided by Pulp Business, RepEquity produced final dialogue and developed the videos that are now featured on the site. This included script editing, character development, creating foundational artwork and animation, identifying product placement opportunities, recording voiceovers, identifying all music and sound effects, and performing all editing and mixing.
Finally, the videos were encoded using a format that easily ports across platforms as diverse as the iPad, iPhone and PCs running Internet Explorer.
