South Carolina Department of Commerce
Following a simple website redesign, the South Carolina Department of Commerce (DOC) came back to RepEquity for recommendations on a website rearchitecture.
The goal: To intuitively reorganize for the site’s multiple audiences and better position the DOC as an authority in helping businesses thrive in South Carolina.
RepEquity’s approach began with content strategy and user experience. The teams did a wide landscape analysis of commerce departments across North America. With a firm grasp of best practices in the commerce space, RepEquity put forth a set of recommendations accompanied by an initial outline to illustrate proposed navigational elements and site structure.
Once approved by the client, RepEquity provided a full content outline, and wrote or revised content where needed. New content, graphics and structure were implemented via the CMS in less than four weeks.
